Akor Adams joins Venezia FC

Venezia FC is pleased to announce the permanent signing of striker Akor Adams from Sevilla FC.

Born in 2000, Adams has signed a contract with the club until 30 June 2030.

The Nigerian forward began his football journey in the youth academy of Jamba Academy before making his professional debut with Norwegian side Sogndal IL in 2018. During his time at the club, he made 56 appearances, scoring 16 goals and providing six assists.

Ahead of the 2022 season, he joined Lillestrøm SK, where he recorded 28 goals and seven assists in 50 appearances. He also featured in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers and scored twice in a single appearance for the club's reserve team.

In the summer of 2023, Adams moved to France to join Montpellier HSC, registering 13 goals and five assists in 49 appearances. In January 2025, he signed for Sevilla FC, where he made 37 appearances across all competitions, scoring 10 goals and providing four assists.

At international level, Adams has earned two caps for Nigeria's Under-20 national team and has gone on to make 15 appearances for the senior national team, scoring six goals.
