Privacy Notice pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR)

This Privacy Notice explains how the personal data of users who wish to subscribe to and receive the official Venezia FC newsletter and marketing communications are processed.

2. Purpose of Processing and Legal Basis

Your personal data (such as your email address and, where applicable, your mobile phone number for SMS communications), provided when subscribing, will be processed, subject to your explicit and optional consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), for the following purpose:

  • Sending newsletters, marketing and promotional communications via email and/or SMS relating to Venezia FC's activities, products, services, ticketing, merchandising and events.

Providing your personal data is entirely voluntary. Refusing to provide such data or withholding your consent will not affect your ability to use any other services available on the website.

3. Processing Methods and Security Measures

Your personal data will be processed using electronic and/or manual means, in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency and data minimisation set out in Articles 6 and 32 of the GDPR.

Appropriate technical and organisational security measures are implemented to protect your personal data against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure or unlawful processing.

4. Data Access and Disclosure

Your personal data will not be disclosed to the public and will only be processed by personnel expressly authorised by the Data Controller, in particular members of the Venezia FC Marketing Department.

For the proper management of the service, your data may be shared with third parties appointed as Data Processors, including:

  • Communication and marketing agencies;

  • Email and SMS service providers.

5. Data Retention Period

Your personal data will be retained and processed for the purposes described above until you withdraw your consent (unsubscribe).

You may unsubscribe at any time and stop receiving marketing communications by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link included at the bottom of every email.

6. Your Rights

As a data subject, pursuant to Articles 15–22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, you have the right to:

  • Access: Obtain confirmation as to whether your personal data is being processed and receive information about such processing.

  • Rectification: Request the correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

  • Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request the deletion of your personal data where applicable.

  • Restriction and Objection: Request restriction of processing or object at any time to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes.

  • Data Portability: Receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

  • Lodge a Complaint: File a complaint with the competent Data Protection Authority.
