Albion Rrahmani's Press Conference

Two days ahead of Venezia FC’s match against Frosinone, scheduled for Sunday, September 6 at 3:00 PM and valid for the third matchday of the 2026/27 Serie A Enilive season, striker Albion Rrahmani spoke at a press conference about settling into the team and previewed the key themes ahead of the game.

Albion Rrahmani, Venezia FC striker:
“I feel good here and I have a really positive feeling. The team is new, there are many new players, and I can see that we are all trying to give our best both during the week and in matches. We’ll see what happens over the coming weeks. The coach is giving us a clear footballing identity and we are following his ideas. In these first few games, we have certainly been missing a bit of luck. If we look at our performances, we have always had very good first halves, and as Coach Stroppa says, we need to do a better job of making the most of the scoring opportunities we create.

Every match is very important, and we have to try to give our best every time and stay focused. That will have to be the case on Sunday as well, while continuing to play the good football we have been playing. I am at the team’s disposal and I play wherever the coach decides. If I play as the number ‘9’, I am closer to the goal; if I play in a deeper position, I will still try to use my qualities to help the team in every phase of play. We have a lot of quality in the attacking department. We simply need to keep creating all these chances and then try to convert them.

In Italy, there is a strong work ethic, both physically and tactically. I am trying to adapt to this league as well. I can see that teams here work very hard defensively and leave very little space. My dream has always been to play in one of Europe’s top leagues, and I’m happy to have achieved it. I want to score goals and provide assists to help Venezia achieve all of its objectives. I have been lucky enough to grow up alongside many talented players, and the first person I want to mention is my father, because he was also a footballer. I trained a lot with him when I was younger, and we are always comparing ourselves and discussing football".
