Antonio Fernández joins Venezia FC

Venezia FC announces that it has reached an agreement with FC Barcelona for the temporary transfer of forward Antonio Fernández, born in 2008, with an option to make the move permanent and an obligation to do so if certain conditions are met.

Having come through Barcelona’s youth academy, Toni Fernández made his first-team debut on 4 January 2025 in the Copa del Rey, as the Blaugrana defeated UD Barbastro 4-0. With his debut, he became the second-youngest player ever to make his first-team debut in Barcelona’s history.

During the 2025/26 season, he made one appearance in La Liga and 24 appearances for FC Barcelona Atlètic, scoring five goals and providing three assists. He is also a regular member of Spain’s youth national teams.
