Davide Nicola, Venezia FC head coach.
“There has been time to recover and prepare for this match, which will be very exciting because we will be facing another high-quality opponent. We will take on a very strong team with a coach whom I greatly admire for the outstanding work he is doing. We need to build on the progress we made against Inter, identify what we can improve further and prepare for this challenge against Como. We need to try to be a little less frantic in certain situations and, more generally, improve our quality of play and the synchronisation of our movements. I always try to focus on the positive aspects and highlight strengths rather than weaknesses, and I have to acknowledge that, at this moment, I am pleased with what the team is doing and with how quickly the players are taking on board our playing principles. There is a very positive atmosphere within the group, which gives me a great deal of motivation and determination to keep working at the highest level.

We must believe that, in every match and against any opponent, we always have something to offer. I am fortunate to have so many players who are willing to contribute and are doing what the team needs. I see motivated players and a united group, full of energy and eager to play. What has happened belongs to the past; now we must focus solely on what we need to do, because that is what will shape our future".
