Giovanni Stroppa's Press Conference

On the eve of the match against Fiorentina, valid for the fourth round of the 2026/27 Serie A Enilive Championship, head coach Giovanni Stroppa previewed the key themes ahead of the game, which will take place on Friday, September 11 at 8:45 p.m. at the Penzo Stadium.

“We have worked extremely well. Never before this week has the team come together so strongly and returned to working in the way we like, preparing as well as possible for tomorrow’s match. I believe that the change of coach at Fiorentina could bring something different, as sometimes happens in similar situations, but we will have to be good at making sure we are ready. Our objective is to continue doing the things we know how to do. So far, we have put in some excellent performances, even though we have not collected any points, and we have a league position that we do not deserve.

I believe that the second half against Frosinone triggered something different within the team, and we are ready to face tomorrow’s match against a strong side with excellent qualities. We are continuing along a technical journey, building our identity and integrating the new players into our style of play. We need to have faith in what we are doing, and the team is giving me that confidence".
