Giovanni Stroppa's Press Conference

On the eve of the match against Frosinone, valid for the third round of the 2026/27 Serie A season, head coach Giovanni Stroppa discussed the key aspects of the game during his pre-match press conference. The match is scheduled for Sunday, September 6, at 3:00 PM.

“In recent days, we have focused on recovering from the midweek Coppa Italia match, despite making a number of rotations, and now we will look to select the best possible starting XI for tomorrow. I would like us to start picking up points for what the team has been showing, and in this regard, we need to be good at making the key moments work in our favour. It will be a game decided by individual moments, duels and set pieces, while also taking into account the characteristics and identity of our opponents.

All we need is to score goals. We are creating important chances and getting into dangerous areas with plenty of players, so I could say that we cannot wait to finally get off the mark. We also created many chances in Udine, both in the first and second half. I believe physical condition is closely linked to mental condition: when you are fresh and clear-headed, your concentration is better, and that is an area where we can improve".
