MATÍAS MORENO JOINS VENEZIA FC

Venezia FC announces that it has reached an agreement with ACF Fiorentina for the temporary signing of defender Matías Moreno until the end of the 2026/27 season.

The deal includes an obligation to make the transfer permanent upon the fulfilment of certain conditions.

Born in Córdoba, Argentina, on 24 September 2003, Moreno came through the youth academy of Atlético Belgrano, making his first-team debut in 2023. He went on to make 36 appearances for the Argentine club, registering one assist.

In the summer of 2024, he joined Fiorentina, where he made 12 appearances in all competitions before moving on loan to Levante for the 2025/26 season. During his spell with the Spanish side, he made 29 appearances.

While at Fiorentina, Moreno also gained valuable European experience, making eight appearances in the UEFA Conference League.
