Rufai Mohammed joins Venezia FC

Venezia FC announces that it has reached an agreement with IF Elfsborg for the temporary transfer of Ghanaian defender Rufai Mohammed, born in 2006, with an option to make the move permanent.

Having come through the youth academy of InterAllies FC, Mohammed joined Elfsborg in March 2024. The following season, he made 16 appearances and scored two goals in the Swedish top flight with Värnamo, who signed him on loan.

After returning to Elfsborg, he has made 18 appearances in all competitions during the current season, scoring one goal and providing one assist, as well as making one appearance and scoring one goal in the Svenska Cupen.
