Thierry Rendall Correia joins Venezia FC

Venezia FC is pleased to announce the signing of defender Thierry Rendall Correia, who has signed a contract with the club until the end of the 2026/27 season, with an automatic extension triggered upon the fulfilment of certain conditions.

Born in Amadora, Portugal, on 9 March 1999, Correia came through the youth ranks at Sporting CP, completing his development pathway before making his first-team debut during the 2018/19 season. He made seven official appearances for the Lisbon-based club, including two in the UEFA Europa League, before joining Valencia in the summer of 2019.

During his time with the Spanish side, Correia made 160 official appearances, scoring two goals and providing six assists, while also making his debut in the UEFA Champions League.

At international level, Correia represented Portugal at every youth age group and won the UEFA European Under-17 Championship and UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
