Second consecutive victory for Venezia FC Primavera on matchday six of the 2026/27 Cisalfa Sport Primavera 2 Championship, Group A, away at Sudtirol. In the match played this afternoon at 2:30 PM at the “C.S. Maso Ronco” Stadium in Appiano sulla strada del vino (Bolzano), Marco Modolo’s side came from behind in the second half to overturn the initial lead scored by Platto, with goals from Fondi and Aevoaei. Thanks to this victory, the orange-and-black side move up to 10 points in the standings.
Modolo’s side made a strong start and threatened as early as the 4th minute with a shot from Amadio that went just over the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Amadio was once again in the spotlight with a fine effort that forced the opposing goalkeeper to turn the ball behind for a corner. Shortly afterwards, Fondi also tried his luck, but his shot posed no particular problems for Laureti. At their first real attacking opportunity, in the 31st minute, Sudtirol took the lead: a one-two between Ciampelli and Platto set the latter up for a shot, which Furlanetto had no chance of saving, putting the home side ahead. In the 37th minute, Sudtirol threatened again with an effort that went just over the crossbar. Modolo’s boys, however, stayed in the game and, three minutes later, created a goalscoring opportunity when Izzo crossed for Davanzo, who was denied at the last moment by the opposing defence. The teams therefore went into the break with the score at 1-0.
After the interval, the orange-and-black side once again started strongly and found the equaliser six minutes into the second half: Perez delivered a cross from the left for Fondi, who made a good run to lose his marker in the box and headed home to make it 1-1. In the 9th minute, Sudtirol threatened again with a free kick from the left that led to a shot by Diousse, which struck the crossbar. Venezia responded in the 16th minute with a well-worked move involving Amadio and Dalla Pietà, who set up Davanzo, but the home defence closed him down. The orange-and-black side tried again in the 24th minute with a shot from Dalla Pietà that Laureti turned behind for a corner. Modolo’s boys continued to attack and, in the 33rd minute, created another goalscoring opportunity: Davanzo’s dangerous shot was parried by Laureti, and the ball fell to Camara, who failed to find the net from close range. The decisive moment came in the 39th minute, when an excellent recovery of possession during a Sudtirol counterattack led to a shot by Aevoaei, who beat the opposing goalkeeper for the second time and secured the victory for the orange-and-black side. The match ended 2-1 in favour of Venezia. In the next round, Modolo’s side will play at home against Modena on Saturday, 31 October, at 2:30 PM.
