A win for Venezia FC’s Primavera side in the fifth round of the 2026/27 Cisalfa Sport Primavera 2 Championship, Group A, away against Udinese. At the “Tavagnacco Stadium” in Tavagnacco (Udine), Marco Modolo’s side secured a 1-2 victory, coming from behind after conceding the opening goal and creating numerous scoring opportunities throughout the match.

The Arancioneroverdi made a strong start, creating the first chance of the match after just 26 seconds, when Camara delivered a fine cross to Perez, whose shot was deflected behind for a corner by the opposing goalkeeper. A minute later, Venezia threatened again: Amadio’s cross-shot travelled across the entire penalty area and reached D’Agostino, who hit the post. Venezia continued to press in the 3rd minute with a dangerous effort from Perez, which Sebastiani dealt with. In the 9th minute, Udinese came forward through Ramku, who found Bottacin, whose close-range effort was saved by Zuzzi. In the 11th minute, Venezia pushed forward again with a long-range effort from Davanzo, which Sebastiani gathered at the second attempt. It was an entertaining match, with frequent changes of possession and both teams looking to create dangerous opportunities. In the 17th minute, Venezia threatened once more through Aevoaei, who shot wide of the target. Udinese launched a counterattack and, a minute later, took the lead thanks to a curling effort from Carrillo, who made the most of a through ball before beating Zuzzi. Venezia immediately tried to respond with a fine combination between Camara and Davanzo, the latter’s shot forcing the opposing goalkeeper into a low save. Modolo’s side created another scoring opportunity in the 24th minute, when Izzo’s header from the heart of the penalty area went narrowly wide. In the 32nd minute, Udinese came close to doubling their lead with a shot that struck the inside of the post before bouncing back into play. Before the half-time whistle, the Arancioneroverdi created two more chances. First, Perez saw his effort denied once again by Sebastiani, then Dalla Pietà shot from inside the penalty area, sending the ball narrowly wide. The teams went into the break with the score at 1-0.

Venezia started the second half with the same determination and found an equaliser just eight minutes after the restart: Amadio won possession, powered his way into the penalty area and unleashed a superb shot that left the opposing goalkeeper with no chance. In the 10th minute, Udinese threatened through Tripodi, whose effort went wide. In the 12th minute, substitute Fondi also posed a threat with a long-range attempt. Venezia continued to attack and, in the 22nd minute, Amadio was once again at the centre of the action, forcing Sebastiani into a low save. Shortly afterwards, Aevoaei also tried his luck, but the home defence cleared the danger. In the 89th minute, the decisive moment arrived: Scapati unleashed a superb shot from outside the penalty area, sending the ball into the back of the net to score a fantastic goal and put the Arancioneroverdi ahead. Udinese tried to respond, but Venezia’s defence held firm to protect the lead. The final whistle confirmed an important victory for Modolo’s side, who climbed to sixth place in the standings with seven points. The Arancioneroverdi will play their next match away against Sudtirol on Saturday, 24 October.
